VISION 2009

The ARTTS consortium was exhibiting the results of the project at the trade show VISION 2009 in Stuttgart, Germany, November 3-5., in Hall 6, Booth C50, and giving a talk about TOF-technology and the outcome of the ARTTS project.

EUROGRAPHICS 2009

A State of The Art Report (STAR) on Time-of-Flight Sensors in Computer Graphics was given by Erhardt Barth during the Eurographics 2009 conference in Munich, April 3rd.

ICT event 2008

The ARTTS project presented an exhibit at the ICT event 2009 that was scheduled November 25-27 in Lyon, France. The exhibit showed interactive applications for the Time of Flight camera.

CVPR 2008

IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition in Anchorage, Alaska, June 24-26, 2008

The ARTTS project contributed to the "Workshop on Time of Flight based Computer Vision (TOF-CV)" at the IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition in Anchorage, Alaska.

Topic of interest included, but were not limited to:

• Integration of range and intensity imaging sensor outputs
• Object recognition and tracking
• Human-computer interaction
• Video surveillance
• Scene segmentation and obstacle detection
• Computer assisted surgical intervention
• Industrial applications of TOF cameras
• Automotive applications of TOF cameras
• Virtual reality applications

ISSCS 2007

IEEE International Symposium on Signals, Circuits & Systems in Iasi, Romania
July 12-13, 2007

The ARTTS project contributed to a special session on "Algorithms for 3D time-of-flight cameras" at the IEEE International Symposium on Signals, Circuits & Systems (ISSCS 2007) in Iasi, Romania.

Topics of interest included, but were not limited to:

• Development of 3D TOF sensors
• Signal processing, calibration, and feature extraction for 3D TOF cameras
• Tracking and interaction based on 3D TOF cameras
• Object and action recognition based on 3D TOF cameras
